I-68   Proposed
Previous I-68's:		I-68: On April 7, 1958 VDOH proposed I-68 as the number for current I-495. On April 21, 1958 AASHO denied this number request. Note that the 1957 Route Log assigns VA 88 to the Washington Circumferential Highway. The beltway was also referred to in numerous 1950s CTB references and is on at least 1 Fairfax County planning map as VA 413	I-68 requested for the DC Beltway April 7, 1958 letter to AASHO
